The Week Ahead (W15, 2018) God Eater
Interesting stuff coming up.
On the streaming front, I think I have my camera and my mic working as well as they can. I definitely spot the equipment's shortcomings, but I made it so I don't sound robotic or look too dark in the frame. I will likely need to spend a little money on lighting though and I should be researching this after I'm done with picture frames.
My Steam Controller arrived today and I 'm stoked about putting it through its paces and play 4X games on it. Yes, that is the plan. Turn based strategy on a controller, is it madness? Let's find out. Worst case scenario, I get back to Ikaruga.
New clothing coming in. After losing a little more than 15 KGs/ 33 lbs, I'm scaling down my wardrobe. Pretty pumped about the new threads, continuing on with the rocker vibe.
A couple of gig nights in the near horizon, blues and metal. Alone or with friends, this is definitely happening for me. Music has been keeping me inspired and moving forward at all times, even more so now. To see live people playing out their creations is a constant reminder that I (and any others) can explore what goes inside and breathe some kind of creativity upon this world.
I need to wash and maintain my motorcycle, but the rain isn't helping me at all. Luckily the days are getting longer now and I should be able to get this done after work, one of these days.
Work wise, the mood and the mission is to clear my old things out of my stack and continue my exit process from the company. Continues to feel odd, but such is the nature of the beast. This should also be the week I set up my bye-bye-bash!
Quick word on the past weekend. It was rad! Devoured American Gods (the show, and I probably should make a post about this), saw an adaptation of Dracula with only two actors (maybe I should write about this one as well) that made me appreciate further how execution and delivery shape the message. I got very drunk on Saturday night. I could have probably done better by cutting back on a couple of drinks, since Sunday was dedicated to one bitchin' hangover. Nonetheless, getting carried away with good friends and let Joy and Laughter bubble up and come out is always a Good Thing. Met a couple of 19 year olds. One was a poser, the other a charmer, youth and looks gets free lunch (and drinks). Called them on that specific bullshit, wished them all the best and off I went stumbling back home, leaving in good terms.
Finally, a very good friend has just become a dad. To J, V. and little U. I wish here all the best and a fun ride in the times to come! Hail!
