Dungeons of Dredmor
God, but you had a nice sense of humour.
BUT THEN THE CRAFTING.
LOADS AND LOADS OF THE ITEM CRAFTING.
Why is that, buddy? It is not fair game, we could have had a good thing going, you and I. Yeap. But there came the point where most of my inventory is full of jank, that can be converted into other jank, but I have to keep switching menus around, and worst of all, you have me playing inventory Tetris. Store cheeses because they might be handy... later? I can make an awesome weapon out of this wooden board, but only if I find zinc? When?
Is this about killing monsters, or actually, is this about collecting stuff to make more stuff? Why is this a game about stuff?
Goddamn it. I don't get the crafting thing. It's really not for me. And when it is one of the cornerstones of what makes you, you, then my friend, 'tis here that we part ways.
Or is it? Should I just tough it out? Be better about crafting? Go past the difficulty curve?
